Privacy Notice

Scope and contact

This notice describes data handling by the CorNex cardiovascular research platform, intended for healthcare professionals and researchers, not individual medical use. Contact the platform operator through Contact Us for privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

• Research requests: questions, conversation context and cited sources are processed for answers and summaries. Each conversation (questions, answers, cited sources and any ratings, reasons or comments you give) is saved with your access code so authorized operators can review it; you cannot retrieve it later from the app.
• Essential usage records: access codes, session and message identifiers, timestamps, submitted questions and summary-request counts are stored to enforce access limits. No saved chat history does not mean no question content is stored.
• Optional analytics: if accepted, records include question and answer text, timing, browser user-agent, session duration, citation clicks, ratings, feedback reasons and comments, and export activity.
• Contact requests: name, email, organization, optional website, question and submission time are stored to handle your request and prevent repeated submissions.
• Technical data: hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser information and diagnostic logs to deliver and secure the service.

Purposes and privacy choices

Research processing and access-limit records provide the assistant and protect against misuse. Contact information is used to handle the request you submit. Premium waitlist emails are used only to announce the Premium launch. Optional analytics support evaluation and improvement and stay off until accepted. Rejecting them does not stop essential usage records, AI processing or contact storage. Privacy choices lets you withdraw acceptance and stop future optional events; withdrawal does not delete past records.

AI and other recipients

Questions and conversation context pass through Lovable’s AI Gateway to Gemini, or an external chat API configured by the operator. Summaries use Gemini. Search terms and article identifiers go to NCBI PubMed. Lovable Cloud provides hosting and data storage; authorized operators can review saved conversations and ratings. The operator must review and disclose any custom provider’s identity and data practices before activating it. Google Fonts supplies page fonts and may receive connection information. PubMed links open NCBI’s website, where its privacy practices apply. Provider processing locations, retention and AI-training terms depend on their terms and the operator’s agreements; this notice does not promise that providers never retain data or use it for training.

Sensitive information and exports

Do not enter patient names, birth dates, record numbers, identifiable case histories or other sensitive personal information. Codes and random identifiers do not guarantee anonymity. PDF generation and printing start in your browser. Email export opens a transcript draft in your email application; sending it shares the transcript with that application, your email provider and your recipients.

Security and retention

Contact records are not publicly readable through the app. Access restrictions protect stored records, but no online service guarantees absolute security. Refreshing or closing a chat clears it from your screen, not saved conversations, usage records, contact submissions, optional analytics or exported copies. The operator has not yet published a fixed deletion schedule or provider-specific retention periods. Contact the operator for retention details or deletion requests.

Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. Use Contact Us with enough detail to locate records, without patient information. Some records may need to remain for legal or security reasons. The operator must confirm applicable legal bases, jurisdiction-specific disclosures and international-transfer safeguards.

Acknowledgment and updates

Acknowledging this notice is separate from optional analytics consent and does not waive privacy rights. Material notice changes prompt a new choice. See the Cookie Policy for browser storage details.
